Rangers vs. Twins Line Movement

Rangers vs. Twins Prediction

Prior to being swept by the Os, the Rangers were playing really good baseball and looked like they may go on a run. Texas was one of the most active teams in baseball in the offseason when they inked a contract with Marcus Semien and Corey Seager.

The Twins inked a big contract of their own in Carlos Correa, who is one of the best shortstops in all of baseball. The top of the Twins lineup could be considered the best in all of baseball. The issue for Minnesota coming into the season was expected to be their starting pitching and bullpen production.

That has not been an issue for them yet this season, and that is why they sit at the top of the American League Central. Texas will send Jon Gray to the bump tonight to try and shut down this high-powered Minnesota lineup. Gray has been really solid for Texas with an era just south of four. He has allowed two runs or fewer in four of his last five starts. Sonny Gray gets the call for the Twins, and he has been very good this year. Gray comes into this one sporting an era of just 2.47. He will be tasked with shutting down this Texas lineup tonight.

I am backing the dog here in the Rangers. I really like this spot for Texas at home. We are going to take the first five line because I do not completely trust this Rangers bullpen. Jon Gray has been throwing the baseball really well as of late, and I feel this is a good time in the season to back him. Texas is a sneaky lineup, and they should be able to give Gray some issues early. I have Texas as a favorite in my eyes so getting them at plus money here is a no-brainer to me. Let’s cash this dog in tonight!
