He is paced toward 60 on the season, and his production is a huge reason that this team has been able to flip the script on their season. The Cardinals have been about what was expected. An above-average team that has struggled to pitch at times. The Cardinals' bright spot has been their offense, led by multiple-time All-Star Paul Goldschmidt. Goldy is one of the favorites to win National League MVP, and for a good reason. He is hitting .342 on the season with a WAR of 4.8. St. Louis has been a top-ten offense this season, ranking ninth in the bigs with an average of 4.59 runs per game.
