Baltimore Orioles vs. Los Angeles Angels Prediction: Should You Back Dean Kremer Against the Angels?
The plan for today was to do a strikeout list that would carry us through the day. It was going to be the only way for me. I'm a goner from like 8:00 am - 3:00 pm ET today (kids' soccer). Like most of you, Saturdays are just like that which is part of the reason losses don't count on Saturdays. The issue with this Saturday is there isn't a ton of mistakes by the books on the 3.5 and 4.5 guys. It's tough to ladder the guys with bigger numbers. Not to worry though, I have a plan.
We just won't do a strikeout list and just get down on something that starts at 4:00 pm ET. That way, I can watch my kids play soccer as well as have action that pretty much starts when I'm done doing that. (Plus there's only one game that starts before the 4:00 pm games and I don't like anything there.) I feel like this could still be the greatest Saturday in the history of gambling and we don't even know it yet.

Baltimore Orioles vs. Los Angeles Angels Pick
Dean Kremer Over 4.5 (+110) (Bet $100 to win $110)
*Odds available at DraftKings at time of publishing*
We're at DraftKings for this one since only they and FanDuel have numbers for this guy right now. It's still early so the other books are probably not even up yet so it will be worth checking later. FanDuel has 4.5 (-110) which isn't bad but obviously, we want the (+) money here, especially with this number. If you play at BetMGM, it would be smart to check there though since they will probably fall in line with DraftKings. They could throw out a +120 since it's Saturday. For the people.
Baltimore Orioles vs. Los Angeles Angels Prediction
This guy is in the Circle of Trust so we know all about him. He doesn't play around out there. He's got everything but mainly he's a big hair guy which is always fun to back. Especially on a Saturday. If we're being honest, I like the big hair guys to have a beer gut to go with the hair but that's just me. Maybe even a handlebar mustache. This Kremer guy probably will never have the beer gut (doesn't have the build) but at some point, the handlebar mustache could be in play.
Although it helps, a great head of hair alone won't get you into the Circle of Trust. At some point, you have to be able to strike people out. Our guy Kremer can do that and I think the books are noticing. I thought he'd be 3.5 for jacked-up juice but we're seeing a 4.5 today. Not to worry though because he's hit this number in two of his last four games. The times he missed, he landed on four. Opponent matters though and the only times Kremer has not fanned at least five guys are in games where they made him pitch against teams that don't strike out much (Guardians, Royals, White Sox, Rangers). That's not fair.
That won't be the case today as Kremer gets to face the Los Angeles Angels who have struck out more than any other team in MLB. They're killing it when it comes to striking out (especially during the day when they fan 32% of the time as a team). I think they could set a record if they really buckle down over the last couple of months. They've got the horses to do it too. By my count, I see like seven guys that could be in the lineup today that have struck out at least 31% of the time over the last two weeks. There are another three that are at least 27% guys. Our guy Dean Kremer could finish this off in the first inning if things go perfectly.
