The Yankees took games one and two of this series which was followed up with a big come-from-behind win by the Sox last night. The division appears to be all but wrapped up by the Yankees as they lead the Sox by fifteen games as we approach the all-star break. The Sox are still in a prime spot to make the postseason led by one of the better offenses in baseball. There are rumors that Chris Sale will be returning soon, which could help this starting rotation.

The Yankees have been the best team in baseball by a landslide this season. You could not have scripted a much better first half of the season for the Yankees. Aaron Judge lions like the American League MVP as he leads the majors in home runs and has been outstanding this year.

The pitching for the Yankees has been outstanding all season long, and their defense has picked them up and won them multiple games this year. The man getting the ball tonight Jameson Taillon has been enjoying a great year for the Yanks. He will be opposed by Nick Pivetta, who toes the rubber for the Sox. Pivetta is enjoying the best season of his career. 

I am backing the Yankees. They have made pretty much everyone who gambles a lot of money this year, and I believe that they continue that narrative tonight. Taillon has been great for the Yankees this year and the Sox without their best bat in Rafael Devers. He should be able to limit this Sox lineup tonight. I believe that the Yankees can touch up Pivetta despite his great season so far. I am not going to get too cute here; I will trust the much better team!
