Tonight, we have a relatively small board however I still like plenty of spots and see some angles I want to get after. I may drop further action on Twitter before games get started so check back later for more but to get us started I want to dive into my favorite straight money line play and one of the top totals this evening.

Atlanta Braves vs New York Mets Prediction
Well in this star-studded matchup tonight we have two of the top teams in the league and easily top five contenders out of the National League looking forward to the postseason this year.
While it is not easy for me to fade a team that has been on a really nice run and one that has been making me money lately as well but I see a good spot to do it here. It seems like Atlanta is the favorite for many tonight and I completely understand that; when top teams and top arms face off sharps will have contrasting opinions and that is okay, that’s what makes this fun.
Max Fried has been excellent sporting a 9-2 record with a 2.52 ERA and nearly sub-one whip at a 1.02. That is hard to fade but he is not invincible. The Mets love these marque matchups, and they also love hitting southpaws.
It is also nice anytime you have Mad Max Scherzer on the mound behind you which New York does tonight. He has not been in action as much as he would like this season but is still 5-1 with a 2.26 ERA and sub-one whip at a 0.88. The three-time Cy Young award winner with 3,090 career strikeouts is also still striking out 11.31/9 this year.

San Francisco Giants vs. Arizona Diamondbacks Prediction
I will keep this short and sweet. Both these offenses are heating back up to begin with and there is an opportunity for them both to do damage here tonight. Merril Kelly and Alex Cobb are underperforming and have already been hit well by the other squads before.
I am not a crazy obsessive splits and trends guy but these were awesome to see when looking for data to back this total so I want to share.
The Arizona Diamondbacks are 9-3 to the over at the line of 7.5 and 7-2 on the road to the over at the line of 7.5. The San Francisco Giants counter strongly and are 17-6 to the over at the line of 7.5 and 12-5 at home at the same line.
