Colorado Rockies vs. San Diego Padres Prediction
The Colorado Rockies will send out Chad Kuhl for tonight's game. Kuhl is a right-handed pitcher with a 6-5 record along with an ERA of 4.02. He's performed above expectations for the Rockies but has still struggled recently, with an xFIP of 5.58 in his last 30 days.
Kuhl has also struck out just 17.2% of batters in that time frame and has induced 33.3% of ground balls when balls are batted into play. The right-hander has struggled more against lefties, allowing a wOBA of .353 and an ISO of .206 in his last 70 plate appearances against lefties.
The Padres are projected to have five lefties in their lineup against Kuhl and currently have a .151 ISO and wOBA of .310 collectively against righties in the last 30 days using that projected lineup. Only Manny Machado and Luke Voit have elevated numbers against righties in the last 30 days against righties. And they're both right-handed batters.

But the Padres probably won't need to score much knowing that Joe Musgrove is on the mound tonight. Musgrove has an 8-2 record with a 2.09 ERA on the season.
In the last 30 days, Musgrove has had an xFIP of 4.04 with 25% of strikeouts and 6.7% of walks. He's also held batters to a BABIP of .200. However, the right-hander has struggled against righties recently, giving up a .349 wOBA and ISO of .286 against his last 46 plate appearances against righties.
The Rockies might have six righties in their lineup, but the projected lineup has a .149 ISO and wOBA of .282 against righties in the last 30 days. That's not going to cut it against Musgrove.
I'm not confident in either lineup tonight. Manny Machado and Luke Voit look like the only consistent hitters in either lineup, especially if C.J. Cron is out for the Rockies tonight.
I'll go ahead and take the Under 10.5 in Coors Field.
Colorado Rockies vs. San Diego Padres Pick
