MLB Parlay Picks for Wednesday: Cash In With This Expert's +586 Parlay
Due to popular demand, we're adding an article at Oddschecker that consists of two parlays. I'm going to add two different parlays, one being a moneyline parlay and the other being a totals parlay in the MLB daily. You can always mix and match these parlays where you see the value! Head to the Oddschecker MLB Odds grid to see complete odds for every game today on the board.
MLB Moneyline Parlay Picks (+357) (Bet $100 to win $357)
- Phillies (-110)
- Rays (-190)
- Padres (-175)
The Phillies will look to escape Toronto with a win tonight. After losing yesterday by one run, the Phillies will pitch Zack Wheeler. Wheeler was snubbed from the All-Star Game and will have one more start to prove himself. He's going to shine tonight, and with the top of the order for the Phillies raking against righties, the Phillies should have no problem getting to Ross Stripling, who hasn't had the best of analytics in the last 30 days.
I'm backing Shane McClanahan. In the last 30 days, the lefty has a 2.42 xFIP with 37.1% of strikeouts. He's almost unhittable right now. Meanwhile, the Rays will take on Josh Winckowski, who has a 4.69 xFIP with just 14.4% of strikeouts. I'll take the much better pitcher in this showdown.
I'm just backing all the aces tonight. Joe Musgrove will take the hill for the Padres. He has struck out 25% of batters and also has limited walks. Outside of CJ Cron, the Rockies' lineup doesn't look all that great. Meanwhile, Cron might not even play due to an injury. On the other hand, the Padres will have a couple of big bats between Manny Machado and Luke Voit to go up against Chad Kuhl. Kuhl has a 5.58 xFIP in the last 30 days for the Rockies.
MLB Total Runs Parlay Picks (+586) (Bet $100 to win $586)
- Dodgers vs. Cardinals Under 8 (-105)
- Athletics vs. Rangers Under 7.5 (-125)
- Padres vs. Rockies Under 10.5 (-105)
We won a +612 parlay two days ago and won a two-game parlay yesterday due to one leg being voided because of a push. We've picked two winners with our totals in the last two days. Take note!
I don't think Adam Wainwright has aged. The man has a 3.83 xFIP in the last 30 days with 22.1% of strikeouts and just 3.1% of walks allowed. He's been superb this year, for what it's worth, and I think that continues tonight. Meanwhile, Tony Gonsolin will get the start for the Dodgers. He's been in CY Young talks all year and made his first All-Star game. I'll back these two elite pitchers.
Jon Gray and Paul Blackburn will take the mound tonight with a total sitting at 7.5. Normally, this wouldn't make much sense. But tonight, it does. Corey Seager is the only batter with elevated analytics in the last 30 days. No other player has a high ISO and high wOBA against their opposition in the last 30 days. Meanwhile, both pitchers are earning an above-average strikeout rate and are walking a limited amount of batters. I'll take the under here.
I know we're in Coors Field, but 10.5 is still a high number between Joe Musgrove and Chad Kuhl. The Rockies only have C.J. Cron hitting at a high rate right now, but he is questionable even to play. Meanwhile, the Padres' top of the order can do damage against Chad Kuhl, but the bottom half of the order looks like a complete disaster. Take the under here.
