There is no team hotter than the Seattle Mariners right now in baseball, as they have won ten games in a row. That win streak has them back in the playoffs via the wildcard. This is a team coming into the season that many thought should be a playoff team base on talent. They were aggressive in the off-season, landing multiple bats in Jesse Winker and Eugenio Suarez. They also landed the reigning Cy Young award winner in Robbie Ray.

Most recently, the Mariners added switch-hitting veteran Carlos Santana, who has already won the team two games with late home runs this season. The Mariners are flying high at the movement, but now they will face one of the best arms in baseball this season in the form of Martin Perez.

Texas has an offense that is capable of putting up runs, and against a guy like Gonzales, they could get to him early. If the Rangers can get a few runs, then we should be able to cruise to victory here.
