Thursday's MLB Best Bets: Jon Gray, Cristian Javier, and the Strikeout Watch List

On most days I would not be happy that we only have six MLB games but after all, we've been through this week, it doesn't feel appropriate. We're a bunch of people that were betting Mexican soccer yesterday. We'll obviously be happy with what we get. I've actually already successfully talked myself into believing this is the best strikeout day of the year. These guys haven't seen real live pitching since Sunday. You know they've been partying for days now while our sweet pitchers have been mentally preparing. Us strikeout bettors have the edge here. It's science. All we have to do now is wait for the lineups to come out and we're gold. This feels way too easy.

Remember, we need to see AT LEAST five of these batters in these lineups when they are released. If that happens, get ready to fire away. If we don't see at least five of these names in each lineup, walk away. We'll find something better. Don't forget to be somebody today.
