Well guys we are finally back to it here as the All-Star break wrapped up yesterday and now we have a full slate here today. It’s moving time, teams are about to start jockeying for positioning, rosters and starters will try to get locked in and where they are not and teams are looking ahead to the postseason (or offseason).
Most teams who are in the race should be highly motivated here in these first series matchups; they have looked ahead to it for the better half of a week now and this is an opportunity to either set the tone for a stronger back half or just keep the foot on the gas like it was going into the break. I love the board this evening and have plays all over the place but I want to dive into a few straight bets I love at good value.

This simply means more to Baltimore, they need to win some games against these good teams if they have a chance in the tightest division in the MLB. They have been excellent and battled back to .500 at 46-46 before the break; tonight they are home with a chance to break that barrier. The Yankees are a stellar 64-30 but they have fallen back to earth a bit here this month and are losing games often again.
Jameson Taillon is on the bump for the Yankees tonight and is a great fade here against a team that loves to face him; Baltimore is slashing .280/.297/.553 against him and were simply finding ways to score as a lineup going into the break. Tyler Wells has the ball for Baltimore and has been excellent when facing the guys in pinstripes; he holds a strong slashline of .157/.204/.231 for just a .435 OPS.

Tampa Bay Rays vs Kansas City Royals Prediction
I’ll keep this short and sweet; this line makes no sense.
Tampa Bay is a good baseball team with a strong record of 51-41 and are playing well. Drew Rasmussen has the ball for them sporting a 3.22 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and record of 5-3 going up against one of my favorite pitchers in the league to fade, Brad Kellar. Kellar is 5-9 with a high tendency to get hit hard and that is highly possible tonight. Kansas City is 20 games below .500 already and has started dealing away players. I am riding with the better team in the better spot all day on this line.
