MLB Parlay Picks for Saturday: Cash In With This Expert's +569 Parlay

Due to popular demand, we're adding an article at Oddschecker that consists of two parlays. I'm going to add two different parlays, one being a moneyline parlay and the other being a totals parlay in the MLB daily. You can always mix and match these parlays where you see the value! MLB Moneyline Parlay Picks (+371) (Bet $100 to win $371)

  • Twins (-175)
  • Diamondbacks (-150)
  • Rangers (-125)

I know Joe Ryan has been giving up more power than he did earlier in the year. But the Twins righty is taking on a Detroit lineup that has a .083 ISO and wOBA of .240 with 50% of ground balls hit, and 18.9% of line drives hit in the last 30 days. Ryan should cruise past the Tigers, and I'll trust the Twins to score runs against Michael Pineda, who hasn't been able to earn high strikeouts at all this season.

Arizona has seven batters hitting an ISO of at least .176 against righties in the last 30 days. With the Diamondbacks going up against Anibal Sanchez, that power will come to fruition, knowing Sanchez allowed plenty of power in his first game back before the All-Star break. Meanwhile, Madison Bumgarner is trying to pitch himself on a contending team. He's limited power and will take on a Nationals lineup that has a .127 ISO as a lineup.

The Oakland Athletics have been so bad against lefties in the last 30 days. Oakland has hit 61.6% of grounders, and just 11.4% of line drives against lefties in that time frame. They'll take on Taylor Hearn, who has an above-average xFIP and high strikeout rate tonight. Meanwhile, James Kaprielian will take the mound for the A's with a 6.17 xFIP. Take Texas.

MLB Total Runs Parlay Picks (+569) (Bet $100 to win $569)

  • Astros vs. Mariners Under 7 (-120)
  • Padres vs. Mets Under 7.5 (-115)
  • Giants vs. Dodgers Under 7.5 (+100)

I guess I'm expecting boring baseball today. I've got three games going under here.

The Astros will send out Justin Verlander, who has a 3.70 xFIP in the last 30 days. He's also striking out 26% of batters in that time frame and has limited walks to 3.8%. Meanwhile, Logan Gilbert will pitch for the Mariners. He has limited walks to 4.8% and has kept line drives down to 18.4%. I like this pitching matchup and don't think the Mariners score very many today.

The Mets will pitch Chris Bassitt, who just always seems more comfortable at home. He has a 4.01 xFIP in the last 30 days and has limited walks to 2.7%. On the other hand, Blake Snell will take the hill against the Mets. The lefty has a 4.78 xFIP with 34.4% of strikeouts and 15.1% of walks in the last 30 days. The Mets hit lefties better than righties but still have 50.5% of ground balls and 18.3% of line drives against lefties. The Padres also don't have much power against righties. Take the under.

I'm a believer that good pitching beats good hitting. Alex Wood will start for the Giants. He has an xFIP of 3.15 in the last 30 days with 27.1% of strikeouts and 3.1% of walks. Meanwhile, Julio Urias will man the mound for the Dodgers. The lefty has a 3.63 xFIP with 29.6% of strikeouts and 4.6% of walks. Urias has been allowing power to lefties but will only face two lefties in tonight's game. Take the under here.  Looking for the best sportsbook offers? Check out the free bets page
