The Cubs know their season is over, barring a miracle. The Cubs will likely be in rebuild mode at the deadline. One of those guys expected to be moved is catcher Wilson Contreas. Contreas was an all-star again this season and will make some team very happy if he is to be dealt. The Phillies will likely be in the buyer's market at the deadline as they will get back feigning MVP Bruce Harper soon. They will also return former all-star Jean Segura.
Tonight the Phillies will send Zack Wheeler to the bump, who has been their best starter this year. Wheeler finished second in Cy Young voting last year, and he has arguably been better this season for Philly. Wheeler will be opposed by former all-star Marcus Stroman.
