Seattle Mariners vs. Texas Rangers Prediction

For tonight’s second piece I want to dive into a total I like and it’s simply just a spot I find very attractive with what we know going into the matchup. We love betting on games involving the Texas Rangers and we went 2-0 on spots with them again last week. I think we can keep it rolling here tonight in this matchup with Seattle as I think both sides should still be rather motivated here and I see the stars aligning in a few ways for us.

Seattle is coming off a series in which they were swept by the Houston Astros but they are still dominating this month and with Chris Flexen on the mound tonight back on their home field I think we see a very strong effort from them without question. Texas and Seattle see each other a lot throughout the season and thus far Seattle has dominated the season series; they have won the last five straight head-to-head and both squads should be hungry knowing that.

Glenn Otto is sporting a 5.40 ERA with a losing record this season and is definitely someone the Mariners can get after and they have done so before. Otto has given up three or more earned runs in four of his last five outings including three runs on two long balls in his last start against Seattle.

On the other side of things, Texas is still trying to get back to .500 and that is slowly fading with each loss. I believe in that team's lineup and what they are capable of; this season is likely too early and not their year to make a run in the postseason but they will keep playing good baseball and winning ball games. They dropped eleven runs for us over Oakland yesterday and I think they can roll those bats into this game and help us cash in here in one way or another.
