I do not want to overdo anything, we have six more days to get back in our bag for the week. Baltimore Orioles vs Tampa Bay Rays Prediction
I love what Baltimore is doing right now and we cashed in on the orange birds quite a few times before the break and even the other day as big dogs against those fellas in pinstripes; they have once again battled back to .500 and are really playing excellent baseball.
With that said, I think they drop tonight’s game to a really good Tampa Bay team that needs a win with their ace on the mound here. Shane McClanahan is having a Cy Young Caliber season sporting a record of 10-3 backed by a 1.72 ERA, 11.95 K/9, and a sub-one WHIP at .80. Those numbers are electric and coming from a southpaw? Awesome. I do not care who they are playing, he is trying to win that award this year and is ready to mow down everyone he faces.
Sammy Watkins on the other hand does have a winning 3-1 record but ERA just shy of four; in 43 PA against the Rays, they have mauled him for a .395 BA and .440 wOBA. The expected slashline tonight is .344/.419/.574 and that is something I will fade on any day ending in Y. I think the money line is priced correctly here but it is too juiced for my liking so here is how I am playing it.
