Due to popular demand, we're adding an article at Oddschecker that consists of two parlays. I'm going to add two different parlays, one being a moneyline parlay and the other being a totals parlay in the MLB daily. You can always mix and match these parlays where you see the value! Head to the Oddschecker MLB Odds grid to see complete odds for every game today on the board.
MLB Moneyline Parlay Picks (+283) (Bet $100 to win $283)
- Rays (-190)
- Giants (-190)
- Mariners (-155)
Shane McClanahan will get the start for the Rays tonight. He's the leading candidate for the AL Cy Young and has a 2.10 xFIP in the last 30 days. He'll take on an Orioles lineup that has a .134 ISO and wOBA of .282 in that same time frame against lefties. Meanwhile, the Rays have a .332 wOBA against righties and will take on Spenser Watkins, who has a 4.76 xFIP in the last 30 days. The Rays just need a couple of runs with McClanahan on the mound.
The Giants have looked so sluggish to start the second half of the season. But tonight, they'll get back on track with Tyler Gilbert on the mound for the Diamondbacks. Gilbert is a lefty with a 6.71 xFIP in the last 30 days. He's also rarely earning strikeouts and will take on a Giants lineup that has a .247 ISO and wOBA of .373 in the last 30 days against lefties. Plus, Carlos Rodon is on the mound for the Giants. I'm confident.
George Kirby has been impressive in his rookie season with the Mariners. He has a 3.84 xFIP in the last 30 days with just 4.2% of walks allowed in that same time frame. The Rangers have potential at the top of their order but that potential quickly drops as you go down the order. On the other hand, the Rangers will pitch Dane Dunning, who has a 5.48 xFIP in the last 30 days. Plus, the power of Seattle's lineup could get to Dunning. Take the Mariners.
MLB Total Runs Parlay Picks (+569) (Bet $100 to win $569)
- Marlins vs. Reds Under 8.5 (-105)
- Braves vs. Phillies Under 7.5 (-115)
- Cardinals vs. Blue Jays Over 8.5 (-120)
The Marlins have a .102 ISO and wOBA of .252 against righties in the last 30 days with their projected lineup. Tonight, they'll take on a rising star in Hunter Greene, who has earned 28.7% of strikeouts in the last 30 days. On the other hand, Pablo Lopez will take the hill for Miami. He's getting a high amount of grounders and giving up a low amount of line drives. Plus, he'll go up against a Reds lineup that has a .142 ISO and wOBA of .289 against righties in the last 30 days.
Spencer Strider is trying to win the AL Rookie of the Year over teammate Michael Harris. Strider has had a 2.82 xFIP in the last 30 days with nearly 40% of strikeouts in those 30 days. The Phillies, as a lineup, have struck out 23.2% of the time in the last 30 days. Meanwhile, Aaron Nola will take the hill for the Phillies with a 3.68 xFIP. He also has high strikeouts and low walks. Bank on the aces here.
Everyone will be so quick to take the under with Paul Goldschmidt and Nolan Arenado out of the lineup. But the Cardinals will have six lefties in the lineup against Berrios, where he's struggled immensely. On the other hand, the Blue Jays will take on Andre Pallante of the Cardinals, who doesn't earn many strikeouts. The Jays have a .372 wOBA against righties in the last 30 days. Take the over.
