Sunday MLB Picks (July 30): A Four-Leg +1470 Total Bases Parlay
We’ve been running multiple hit builders over the last few days, so let’s get back to dialing up something with some longer odds.
Combing through the late slate, I’ve got four players in solid matchups we need two bases from. Let’s dive into the +1476 parlay below. Remember these are longer odds, and on plays like these, a little can go a long way.

MLB Parlay +1470 (Bet $100 to win $1470)
Marcus Semien (TEX) 2+ total bases (-115)
Semien is batting .500 off Reid Detmers, has much better numbers against LHP, and is playing with confidence lately. He’s eclipsed his total bases line in his last two games and six of his last ten games.
Shohei Ohtani (LAA) 2+ total bases (+100)
Ohtani’s splits in his matchup with Dane Dunning would make you think Shohei has had a ton of success. That has not been the case against Dunning, where Ohtani is only 1-14. Here’s why I’m taking the shot, Ohtani bats .258 against RHP (as opposed to .223 for LHP) and Dunning allows LHB to bat .281 off him (as opposed to RHB, who bat .239)
Manny Machado (SD) 2+ total bases (-110)
Machado now has three home runs in his last seven games and has surpassed his total bases line in five of his last seven games. He’s also batting .500 off Dylan Bundy, and hits RHP far better. I like Manny to stay hot tonight.
Byron Buxton (MIN) 2+ total bases (-105)
Buxton possesses some very real, raw power. He goes up against Sean Manaea of the Padres, and he is batting .333 in his career against him (2-6) with a single and a double. Buxton has three home runs in his last four games and is someone who can always launch one out of the park. Buxton is far better against LHP and Manaea is far worse against RHB.
