Texas Rangers vs. Baltimore Orioles Prediction
I feel like these guys just cannot stay out of my sights, they have been money this season overall and we are going to keep riding with it. We are heading back to Globe Life field this evening as the Baltimore Orioles are down in Texas to take on the Rangers. I think both teams should be motivated well heading into this series and with good arms on the mound for both efforts should not be an issue in this series opener.
Texas has fallen back further from reaching that .500 mark although it is not all their fault; they have been battling and are winning games they have just really ran into some tough and hot opponents over the last few weeks. Heading into this one they just took three of four in Los Angeles and have a great chance to roll momentum from that into this one here.
Jon Gray has been throwing the ball well, but I do expect regression at some point and Baltimore is hungry right now. Sammy Watkins has the ball and despite weaker numbers in the grand scheme of things he has been throwing the ball well lately and did so when he faced Texas earlier this season as well. At first glance with the momentum of the pitchers you would maybe think under but once again we get an awesome low total at a great price here.
Both of these pitchers are due for regression; they are pitching above their general performance level and with two hungry offenses in a hitters park I think at least one of these teams can get it going here tonight. The moneyline is a little steep for me to back Texas and I honestly think this one could be a shootout so I am going to ride with these two looks on this one here tonight.
