Chicago White Sox vs. Kansas City Royals Prediction, Picks, Odds: Should You Ride Lucas Giolito?
Every now and then, the books throw us, bettors, a bone. Like a "hey, take this money so you'll have more to bet with tomorrow" type of thing. They all do it, and honestly, it's nice of them to do stuff like that. Everyone needs a little walking around money sometimes. But today, they've outdone themselves. To the point of being a charity. I'm serious. They could literally try to change their tax status after this one. It would work. I don't know if I've ever seen anything like it. The move is in the Kansas City Royals and Chicago White Sox game at 8:10 pm ET. That's primetime for bets that have no chance of losing. Everyone knows that. The only thing we really have to worry about now is what we are going to do with all the cash we win from this thing. I just hope it doesn't change us.

Chicago White Sox vs. Kansas City Royals Prediction
Lucas Giolito Over 5.5 Strikeouts (-132) (Bet $132 to win $100)
We're at FanDuel because they are showing the lowest price. That's all we want. On top of that, they let you get as rowdy as you want with the ladder moves. For instance, if you wanted to go 7+ on this thing, they are offering it for +152. Want to get a little more wild? How about 8+ (+300) or even 9+ (+600). That'll get you jacked up. But we all can't play at FanDuel, so if that describes your life, both DraftKings and BetMGM are price gouging this guy at 5.5 (-170), so be careful.
Lucas Giolito is not used to seeing a 5.5 by his name. It's just not who he is as a human being. In my opinion, he's a 6.5 guy. Always has been. Over his career, he's sat down 804 guys in just 764 innings of work. He toes the line of one per inning, which keeps his lines low, but everyone knows he's capable of 10+ some nights. That makes him the perfect ladder candidate since all we have to do is wait for matchups.
Now the haters are going to say that Giolito has fallen off a bit over his last three starts, but as usual, the haters are just proving how dumb they are. Haters are the dumbest people on the planet. Everyone knows that. They fail to see the easy stuff, which in this case would be the fact that Giolito's last three starts have been against the Guardians (2x), who don't strike out, and the Rockies in Colorado. Those starts don't even count since you'd have to be an idiot to back him in those situations. When those three starts are omitted, you'll see that our boy Lucas has covered this number in each of his last three starts.
Obviously, Giolito is a matchup guy, and tonight he's getting a great one. Normally I avoid the Kansas City Royals, but lately, they've been striking out like it's their job. Not one team in MLB has struck out more than they have over the last week. We're talking 72 whiffs in their last 232 at-bats. That's awful. Tonight we could possibly see a lineup with at least seven guys who are all above a 30% strikeout rate in the last seven days. This bet could easily get us all into the Gambling Hall of Fame. First ballot.
