Wednesday MLB Parlay Picks (+910): A Longshot Bet You Don't Want to Miss
Joey Ruiz is looking to cash big once again with his longshot parlay of the day.
MLB Parlay Picks (+910) (Bet $100 to win $910)
FIRST LEG: Brewers -1.5 (-120)
The Brewers are a team who has great pitching but very inconsistent hitting. They frequently rely on home runs to score a bulk of their runs and when they aren’t hitting the ball out of the park, they really struggle to string offense together. Tonight I believe the Brewers will get a boost from the return of star pitcher, Freddy Peralta, who has solid numbers against the Pirates in his career.
On the other side for the Pirates will be Tyler Beede, who comes into this game with a solid 3.12 ERA but a WHIP of 1.36. This tells me he has done a great job of working around traffic on the base paths to this point and should be due for some negative regression soon.
SECOND LEG: Marlins -1.5 (+115)
The Marlins have gotten somewhat manhandled by the Reds in the first two games of this series, as the Marlins offense has really struggled to push anything across. Tonight they will have their ace and likely NL CY Young winner in Sandy Alcantara on the mound, who I believe will give them a strong bounce-back start.
Alcantara got early run support in his last outing against the Mets but quickly gave it all back and I am sure he will want to rectify that start with a strong performance tonight. On the other side for the Reds will be Mike Minor, who has really struggled all year. He has a 6.31 ERA and has given up a lot of solid contact. The Marlins strikeout a lot but have also hit many homers in bunches at times and think they will tag minor for multiple homers tonight as well
THIRD LEG: Cubs ML (+165)
Many thought the Cubs would be big-time sellers at the deadline but they decided to hold onto Contreras and Happ, who were presumably their 2 biggest bargaining chips. They both ended up staying and are in the lineup tonight and both have really solid numbers off Mikolas. On the other side for the Cubs will be Justin Steele who has been pitching exceptionally well over his last 5 starts as he has posted an ERA just above 2.00 during that time. I think Steele will have another strong start tonight and think the Cubs steal this one from the Cardinals *Pun intended*
Risk (0.2U) 3-Leg Parlay (+910) (Bet $100 to win $910)
- Brewers -1.5
- Marlins -1.5
- Cubs ML
