Kansas City Royals vs Boston Red Sox Prediction: Should You Fade Kris Bubic and the Royals?

Well, it is not the most incredible board of the season by any means today but after a good look over I found a few spots I want us to get after this evening. No long prologue from me here today we are just going to dive right into our first plays. Here is my prediction, pick, and odds for the Royals vs Red Sox game.

Royals vs Red Sox Line Movement

Kansas City Royals vs Boston Red Sox Prediction

Well, the Boston Red Sox are essentially out of the race for postseason contention considering their current situation. It's a little crazy to believe a team sitting at .500 and just 17 games back of first place is out of the race but they are also dead last in the division. The American League East has been incredible this season with all five squads playing great ball but when they trail even Orioles by three games it is hard to imagine they somehow end up with a wildcard spot.

Nonetheless, they did not clean the house or anything and actually upgraded at first base significantly by acquiring Eric Hosmer before the trade deadline. They are still a beloved baseball team with a major fan base, superstar-level talent, and a .500 record; I expect them to keep underperforming in the grand scheme of the season but not in this spot. They are playing the Kansas City Royals today and I love fading them and their man on the bump tonight, Kris Bubic.

Kansas City Royals vs Boston Red Sox Pick
