San Diego Padres vs Colorado Rockies Prediction

The Padres introduced their new lineup to the league last night in an empathic way. The Padres offense dropped five first-inning runs and went on to score nine in the win over the Rockies. Newcomer Brandon Drury hit a grand slam on the first pitch he saw in a Padre uniform.

The headliner was Juan Soto, who was on base three times in five at-bats. He walked a pair of times and hit a single for the Pads. The crowd was electric last night, and it will only get louder for the rest of the summer. The Rockies are a team that will be looking towards the future as they are well aware their time is not now. This was a team who did add Khris Bryant in the off-season, but he has dealt with multiple injuries this year and has had limited production.

The Padres were considered the biggest winners of the deadline adding Soto, Josh Bell, Brandon Drury, and one of the best closers in baseball in Josh Hader. This team went from a bubble wildcard team to one of the best in baseball. Their odds of winning the World Series went from +2400 to +1100. 

I am going to continue to ride the San Diego train tonight. Another guy who just inked a huge contract in Joe Musgrove will get the rock tonight for the Padres. Musgrove has been outstanding this season, earning him the big deal. He was an all-star for San Diego and will be looking to close his season strong.

I believe he can control this Rockies lineup tonight with relative ease. The Padres bats should stay hot as they now look like one of the most dangerous lineups in all of baseball. They are playing with a high at the moment that I want to continue to ride. Let’s cash this in tonight!
