MLB Parlay Picks (+511) (Bet $100 to win $511)

  • White Sox (-155)
  • Mets (-145)
  • Padres (+120)

Any time I get the chance to fade Spencer Howard, I'm going to do it. Howard has had a 6.42 xFIP in the last 30 days while striking out under 14% of batters and walking 9.3% of batters. He's taking on a White Sox lineup that has plenty of power in the middle of the order against righties. Meanwhile, Luas Gilito will take the hill for the White Sox. He hasn't been pretty but he's allowed very low hard contact, which should help him get through against this Rangers lineup. Take the White Sox.

The Mets will send out Jacob deGrom to the mound for tonight's game. Edwin Diaz will also be available. That's crucial news. deGrom will be limited to 75 pitches or six innings of work. The bullpen will have to do the rest. Scherzer earned 11 strikeouts and deGrom will get his fair share today. On the other hand, Spencer Strider has been electric, but worse against lefties. The Mets have six lefties in their lineup ready to hit Strider. New York has more potential. The Padres clearly don't have Los Angeles' number. However, Darvish has been under the radar this year and has been very good. He's been worse against righties but will take on six lefties in the Dodgers' lineup. Meanwhile, the Padres have smacked nearly 28% of line drives against lefties and will take on Tyler Anderson, who has a 5.01 xFIP. The Padres will steal this one.

MLB Total Runs Parlay Picks (+567) (Bet $100 to win $567)

  • Red Sox vs. Royals Under 9.5 (-115)
  • Yankees vs. Cardinals Under 8 (-110)
  • Marlins vs. Cubs Under 9 (-115)

The Red Sox have a .153 ISO and wOBA of .267 against righties in the last 30 days. They'll face Brad Keller, who has earned 54% of grounders and allowed under 20% of line drives in the last 30 days. On the other hand, Kutter Crawford has earned a high amount of strikeouts and will face a Royals team that has struck out 25.3% of the time against righties in the last 30 days. I'm on the under here. The Yankees have lost their mojo. Adam Wainwright won't give the Yankees anything easy and he's going up against Frankie Montas, who was just acquired by New York. Montas has been terrific against righties in the last 30 days. That will help keep Goldschmidt and Arenado out of the box score. Take the under here.

Against lefties, the Cubs have six batters hitting a wOBA of .257 or worse and six batters hitting an ISO of .087 or worse. Jesus Luzardo looked great in his return from the diamond and will pitch just as well today. Meanwhile, Adrian Sampson has been consistently good for the Cubs. Now he'll take on a Marlins lineup that has a .112 ISO and wOBA of .278 as an entire lineup in the last 30 days. The offenses will lack production again today.
