This has been the best offense in baseball, and their pitching has been one of the best staff in the game all season long. This is a team that was very aggressive at the trade deadline throwing all of their chips in the pot.

One of the names that they landed will be the guy getting the ball today in his Yankees debut Frankie Montas. Montas was thought to be one of the best arms on the market, and the Yankees gave up prospects to land him. He has had a great season but rarely got run support pitching for the Oakland Athletics. Montas will try to salvage the series tonight for the Yanks. Opposing him will be veteran Adam Wainwright, who has had a terrific season for St Louis.
