Padres vs. Giants Line Movement

San Diego Padres vs. San Francisco Giants Prediction

For our final play this evening, we are heading back to the West Coast as the San Francisco Giants are on the road and getting ready to battle the San Diego Padres. These National League West rivals are desperate to get things going again here, and I think we see a lot of firepower here in this one when it is all said and done.

The San Francisco Giants began the season at a great pace and were well above .500 until they just hit a wall. They took both games in the mini-series over Oakland this weekend to get something going in the right direction but enter tonight’s contest two games under .500 at 53-55. They really need to battle back hard right now, as any further damage may just widen the gap too much at this point of the season, and they know that.

On the other side, the Friars just got swept by the Dodgers and should be uber motivated to get the bats going and win in front of this home crowd tonight. The Soto and Bell trade addition is still fresh, and the team just got stomped, they need to get it going, and they have a good spot to do it here tonight.

They are still without Tatis, so you cannot judge them entirely, but that does not kill this team whatsoever. They have a lot of guys in that lineup now that is dangerous, and I have no concerns in regard to offensive production. The Dodgers are like kryptonite for the Friars, and I think they shake it off and swing the sticks tonight.

Alex Wood and Blake Snell are both strong starters but also southpaws, who these talented bats love to mash on both ends. Add in a low total I love at a great line. I am on this bet any day of the week.
