Orioles vs Blue Jays Line Movement

Baltimore Orioles vs Toronto Blue Jays Prediction

Starting tonight for the Blue Jays will be Alek Manoah who has turned into the Blue Jays ace and one of the best pitchers in the American League. Manoah comes into this game with a 12-5 record and an even more impressive 2.45 ERA. Manoah also enters this game with a WHIP below 1.00 so he has really done a good job of limiting baserunners this season. Manoah’s home vs road splits are nearly identical this season so it hasn’t bothered him much traveling to visiting ballparks and still putting together a solid performance.

Manoah has also excelled in division games this year as he has allowed just nine earned runs in 49 1/3rds innings for a spectacular 1.64 ERA. Many consider the AL East to be the best division in baseball so his numbers being that good against some of the best competition in the league really speaks to his mental fortitude and competitiveness as a pitcher.

On the other side for the orioles tonight will be Kyle Bradish, who is the complete opposite of Manoah in terms of his success against division opponents. Bradish has struggled mightily against other AL East opponents as he has allowed 28 earned runs in 26 innings against the Rays, Jays, Yankees, and Red Sox combined for a 9.69 ERA. In those 26 innings, he has allowed 44 hits, 9 walks, and 6 home runs so he has really struggled against top competition this year.

Bradish has also struggled at home as he comes into this game with an 0-3 record and a 6.75 ERA at Camden Yards this season. Overall, this is not an environment that Bradish has been successful in and I think the Jays will bounce back against him and the orioles after dropping game 1 of this series. With that being said, I am rolling with Blue Jays F5 -0.5 -120 and Blue Jays Full Game -1 at -127 for 1U each as my most confident MLB Plays of the Day.
