Baltimore Orioles vs Toronto Blue Jays Prediction

The Orioles were able to outlast the Jays last night, winning by a final of 7-4. The O's could not have been more clutch than they were last night when they scored six or their seven runs with two outs. This is one of the best stories in baseball this season. The Orioles came into the year expected to be in the basement of the American League.

Now they are just one game out of a playoff spot. The Orioles sold a few key pieces of theirs at the deadline when they traded all-star closer, Jorge Lopez and Trey Mancini. A lot of people thought that might be the end of this story for the O's, but they continue to shock the league and play great baseball. The bottom line here is the future is bright in Baltimore.

The Jays are in win-now mode and come into this game as the number one team in the wildcard race. This is one of the best lineups in baseball, and if their pitching can hold up, this is a team that no one wants to play come October. Tonight they will send all-star Alek Manoah to the bump, who has been outstanding this season. Opposing him will be Kyle Bradish. 

I know they let us down last night, but I am backing the Jays to bounce back today. This line is too short for me not to take a stab at with Manoah on the mound. He has been extremely profitable to back, and I love that we get him today at the line we are getting. The Jays outhit Baltimore last night but just could not get hits in clutch situations.

They are the much better team and should have a field day against Kyle Bradish today. Bradish has been a great fade coming into this game with a record of 1-4 and an era of 6.55. Now he has to face one of baseball's best offenses. This should be a blowout win in favor of Toronto tonight.
