San Diego Padres vs San Francisco Giants Pick

1u - Joe Musgrove To Record A Win (+145) (Bet $100 to win $145)

*Odds available at DraftKings at time of publishing*

We don’t always play plus money but when we do it’s for good reason. This bet being +145 is too good to pass up. I really think this is a 50/50 chance of winning so I would have this at +100, let's get into it. San Diego enters this game as -170 favorites. The whole world is calling them the Fraudres and this is always the best time to strike. San Diego has lost five straight and people are starting to stay away from them, this streak won’t go on forever. This is the most “law of averages” pick I have ever put out for a multitude of reasons.

San Diego Padres vs San Francisco Giants Prediction

Joe Musgrove is the owner of the Giants. Maybe not in reality but in two starts against San Francisco he has thrown 7 innings both times and had a shutout both times. The man has only allowed five hits that lead to no runs over 14 innings. The Padres offense is so due, that you don’t trade for Juan Soto and Josh Bell and stay on a cold streak. They are due an offensive explosion and it could be tonight. Alex Cobb is on the mound for the Giants and he is significantly worse on the road. Cobb on the road has six starts and has allowed multiple runs in all of them, he holds a 6.03 road ERA and now gets a ticking time bomb in the Padres that should bounce back heavily.

We need Musgrove to go 5+ innings and he has shown that he can go seven routinely against this team. Musgrove has gone 5+ innings in 18/19 starts with the only miss being his last start, he isn’t going to start 18/18 and then fail to do it two times in a row, no shot. Musgrove should have a great day and if he qualifies for the win upon exiting the game then he should be in good hands. The Giants have had the second worst bullpen in baseball since July 1st and the Padres have been a borderline top 10 ben that has gotten better. +145 is crazy odds and worth us laying a unit on. Let's roll!
