Baltimore Orioles vs. Toronto Blue Jays Prediction
Our first play this evening seemed like a no-brainer to me but as I dove in a bit more, I actually decided we are going to go after two different angles in this one because I really believe we can tag both. We are heading back to Baltimore for the final game of this divisional clash between the Toronto Blue Jays and the Baltimore Orioles, which I am excited about.
In my article on Monday, I talked about how good this Baltimore team really is, how hungry they are playing, and the state of the division. Yes, they were not supposed to be going for it this year and were technically sellers at the deadline, but this team just simply does not care. They were four games back from Toronto heading into this series and after taking the first two, they have their eyes on the sweep here.
They are tied with the Rays for third place and are very much in this thing with where records are right now. These next two weeks are vital to their season and they know that. On the other side of things, Toronto is sliding and is just 3-7 across their last ten. They need to win again and fast so I expect the bats to keep making noise tonight.
To start the plays I am going back to the total once again. We cashed in easily in the first two games and it has now hit in five straight between these squads. Toronto is 5-1 to the over in their last six and Baltimore is 3-1-1. The Orioles are also now 5-1 in their last six over Toronto and I don’t see why not to expect another high-scoring affair that Baltimore has a chance to win this evening. This is becoming a fun young rivalry here and Baltimore has their number. Expect the O’s to push hard for the sweep and Toronto to put up runs at a high level, as they can.
