Chicago White Sox vs Detroit Tigers Prediction

The Tigers made a splash when they inked a contract with Javier Baez in the off-season. A lot of people thought that the Tigers could be a sneaky team and make some noise out of the American League. That has not been the case this year, as they represent one of the worst records of any team in baseball. Their main issue has been with their bats. This is an offense that has been tough to watch this season. The Tigers rank dead last in baseball in runs scored, scoring just 3.19 runs per game.

The Sox enter play with a .500 record. They are just a few games out of a playoff spot and still have a great chance to make the postseason. They have been up and down all year across the board. Pitching has been inconsistent along with their bats. This remains one of the most talented rosters in the game, but we will see if they can put it all together and make a playoff run.

Tonight we will see the pride of Longview Texas, Michael Kopech. Kopech has been very good for the Sox this season, entering play with an era of 3.38 on the campaign. Opposing him will be Daniel Norris, who is 0-4 with an era of 6.90. 

I am going to turn to a prop tonight. I love the Sox to win this game by a few runs, but if I bet on the Sox again today, people will not be happy! I did find a prop that will make us rich. I am taking Michael Kopech over 17.5 outs. I love the stuff Kopech represents, and if he has his command, this will soar over. He has been very good to us this season and now faces the worst offense in baseball. This Tigers team is checked out mentally, and I doubt that they will be able to put up much fight against Kopech.
