Royals vs. Dodgers Line Movement

Kansas City Royals vs. Los Angeles Dodgers Prediction

1u - Andrew Heaney Under 2.5 Earned Runs (-130) (Bet $130 to win $100)

*Odds Available at DraftKings*

Andrew Heaney has been electric this year. We’ve only seen him throw 28 innings but what he has accomplished already has been eye-opening. The 31 year old lefty has only allowed 2 earned runs on the season and doesn’t go late into games. Heaney has allowed 1 earned run or less in all 6 six starts so he can go out tonight and allow 2 (his most of the season) and still cash us. Heaney usually only gets to throw between 75-85 pitches so this bet has crazy value. Heaney could very easily only go 5 innings and the Royals Team Total for the first 5 is 1.5, so getting 2.5 on this under is good value!

The Royals don’t intimidate me enough to scare me away. Last night they couldn’t score until the 7th inning and if they duplicate that performance then Heaney should leave keeping his impressive streak alive. The Royals are 20 games under .500 for a reason and now without Benitendi among other talents they once had, this team is even less intimidating. Although it wasn’t the exact same roster it is a good sign that Heaney pitched against Kansas City last year and only allowed one run over 6.2 innings pitched.

This prop should be 1.5 with juice on the over or 2.5 with way more juice on the under, it’s not often at this point in the season you get a bet with a 100% hit rate against a bad offense. Heaney won’t keep up this streak forever and he is due regression soon but it shouldn’t be tonight. Heaney could allow 2 runs over 80 pitches and get pulled, that would be widely considered his worst start of the season and it would still be enough for us to cash. The Dodgers are near -300 favorites for a reason and tonight it all starts with Heaney. Let's cash our only bet of the day!
