MLB Parlay Picks for Sunday: Cash In With This Expert's +540 Parlay

Due to popular demand, we're adding an article at Oddschecker that consists of two parlays. I'm going to add two different parlays, one being a moneyline parlay and the other being a totals parlay in the MLB daily. You can always mix and match these parlays where you see the value! Head to the Oddschecker MLB Odds grid to see complete odds for every game today on the board.

MLB Parlay Picks (+483) (Bet $100 to win $483)

  • Astros -1.5 (-125)
  • Giants -1.5 (-120)
  • Twins (-130)

The Astros will be sending out Christian Javier for today's game. He's taking on an underwhelming Athletics lineup that has just Seth Brown in it. If Javier can get by Seth Brown, he'll cruise throughout his start. Meanwhile, the Astros always find a way to get runs on the board. Cole Irvin should see some regression today, giving the Astros a multi-run win.

Alex Wood will get the start for the Giants. The lefty has put up above-average numbers in the last 30 days and I expect him to do the same today against the Pirates. The Pirates are hitting a .099 ISO with a wOBA of .264 against lefties in the last 30 days with their projected lineup. On the other hand, the Giants are hitting just 31.8% of ground balls against lefties and will take on Zach Thompson, who is usually a ground ball pitcher. If the Giants don't strike out, they'll put the ball in play and good things will happen. I like the Giants to win big here.

Tucker Davidson hasn't been good in the majors this season. The Braves finally gave up on him at the deadline and then he looked very bad in his debut for the Angels. The Twins have hit lefties really well recently and should have no problem getting to Davidson today. On the other hand, Chris Archer has found his strikeout stuff lately and will get by the Angels with his putaway stuff. Back the Twins.

MLB Total Runs Parlay Picks (+540) (Bet $100 to win $540)

  • Brewers vs. Cardinals Over 8 (-115)
  • Mariners vs. Rangers Under 7.5 (-115)
  • Yankees vs. Red Sox Over 9 (-120)

The Brewers will send out Aaron Ashby to the mound against a Cardinals lineup that has feasted against lefties this season. Ashby is only good for strikeouts but the Cardinals don't strike out against lefties often. Meanwhile, Miles Mikolas will get the start for St. Louis. He's started to regress and will take on a Milwaukee lineup that has a ton of power against righties. I like the over in this one.

Logan Gilbert hasn't been great recently. He's regressed in his first full season on the mound. But he's taking on a Rangers lineup that gradually gets worse as you get down the order. If Gilbert can limit power and limit walks, he'll be fine in this game. On the other hand, Martin Perez will get the call for the Rangers. The lefty has been dominant this year and is taking on a Mariners lineup that literally lacks power against lefties. This is a good spot for the under.

The Yankees and Red Sox are playing a meaningful game tonight on ESPN. The Yankees are looking to turn things around after a weird start to the second half. Meanwhile, the Red Sox can't afford to lose more games right now. Jameson Taillon and Michael Wacha have better records and ERAs than their analytics show. I'm looking for both of these pitchers to eventually regress. Wacha won't go deep, as he's just coming off the injured list. Anyway, give me the over here.
