MLB Parlay Picks for Monday: Cash In With This Expert's +548 Parlay

Due to popular demand, we're adding an article at Oddschecker that consists of two parlays. I'm going to add two different parlays, one being a moneyline parlay and the other being a totals parlay in the MLB daily. You can always mix and match these parlays where you see the value! Head to the Oddschecker MLB Odds grid to see complete odds for every game today on the board.

MLB Parlay Picks (+307) (Bet $100 to win $307)

  • Phillies (-180)
  • Cubs (-140)
  • Twins (-190)

The Phillies only scored two runs in three games against the Mets over the weekend. Before that, the Phillies were red hot, scoring tons of runs against mostly bad teams. Tonight, the Phillies will get to face the Reds. That will help turn things around. The Phillies are expected to have plenty of righties in their lineup against Mike Minor, who has an xFIP above 7 in the last 30 days. Noah Syndergaard hasn't been elite for the Phillies, but Philadelphia will score more than enough to help Syndergaard through any trouble.

Marcus Stroman has been really good in the last month. In the last month, he's got a low xFIP, high strikeout rate, low walk rate, high ground ball rate, and a low line drive rate. That's all you can ask for from an ace pitcher. On the other hand, Josiah Gray will get the start for the Nationals. He's been solid but has struggled more against righties in the last 30 days. The Cubs will likely have six righties in their lineup ready to go to work against Gray. I'll trust Stroman and the Chicago bats.

I know Joe Ryan hasn't been the same in comparison to earlier in the season. But he's taking on a Royals lineup that has mostly lefties in it. He's been worse against righties, even as a righty. That will help him get through this game. On the other hand, the Twins have smacked lefties around and will take on Kris Bubic of the Royals. Bubic has an ERA over 5 this season. I'll back the Twins at home.

MLB Total Runs Parlay Picks (+548) (Bet $100 to win $548)

  • Phillies vs. Reds Over 9 (-115)
  • Padres vs. Marlins Under 6.5 (+100)
  • Mariners vs. Angels Under 7 (-130)

I already talked about this Phillies game above. Philadelphia's offense should get back on track against Mike Minor, as they're hitting a .235 ISO and wOBA of .387 in the last 30 days against lefties with their projected lineup. The Reds haven't been great offensively but should be able to tack on a couple of runs against Noah Syndergaard, who has a 5.10 xFIP in the last 30 days.

It's Sandy Alcantara against Joe Musgrove. There's no other way to go about this game than by taking the under. The Marlins haven't scored more than three runs in a game through the last two weeks while the Padres have been inconsistent at the plate since their recent deadline moves. With Alcantara and Musgrove on the mound, the under is the play. The Marlins might not score.

There's another insane pitching matchup in Los Angeles between Shohei Ohtani and Luis Castillo. Castillo was brought in for these types of games. He's going to have to go toe-to-toe with Ohtani in this game. If he's able to do that, this game will clearly go under the total. Both offenses don't have much fire-power offensively. The Angels without Ohtani are awful. The Mariners aren't getting much power against righties throughout their lineup. So this game is screaming the under.
