MLB Picks Today: A +166 Parlay for Monday, August 15

New week, new matchups to break down. After working through the MLB slate today, I’ve found three players in good positions to get a hit.

One very familiar face and two newer members as we break down this +166 hit parlay – needing one hit from each to get to green.

Monday MLB Hit Parlay: +166 (Bet $100 to Win $166)

Vlad Guerrero Jr. (TOR) to get a hit (-230)

Another night, another solid matchup for Vlad. This guy has been as reliable as they come, and even though his 21-game hit streak was finally snapped yesterday, he’s got to start a new one at some point. Guerrero is 3-for-6 off Kyle Bradish, and Bradish gives up a lot to righties. Bradish allows right-handed batters to hit .358 off him, while Vlad bats .284 off right-handed pitchers. Let’s look to jump on game one his new hitting streak.

Eloy Jimenez (CWS) to get a hit (-250)

Jimenez has been hot of late, and Jose Urquidy is far weaker against right-handed batters than left. He allows righties to bat .274 off him, and Jimenez bats .304 off RHP. He also has at least one hit in 11 straight home games and 14 of his last 15 home games.

Alec Bohm (PHI) to get a hit (-320)

Bohm destroys lefties, and tonight he gets Mike Minor, in one of the top matchups on paper. Bohm bats .349 off LHP and Mike Minor allows RHB to bat .306 off him – that is a solid combination. Bohm has a hit in 8 of his last 10 games, and I expect him to keep things rolling tonight.
