Blue Jays vs. Orioles Line Movement

Toronto Blue Jays vs. Baltimore Orioles Prediction

Baltimore has been absolutely rocking Yusei Kikuchi so this line feels odd. Kikuchi has started two games against Baltimore this season and Baltimore in both games scored FIVE runs in the first 5 innings. Baltimore just has this guy's number and this feels like it should be 2.5 all day. Kikuchi is projected to only go about 5 innings and his player prop for earned runs allowed is 2.5, so why are we getting this number? I’m not sure but we will take it.

Baltimore doesn’t hit lefties particularly well but seems to have Yusei figured out. Kikuchi has allowed 13 RBIs to these O’s bats over the course of 65 at-bats, one RBI every 5 at-bats on average. Kikuchi has allowed 2+ runs in 14/19 starts, this number is all around weird but I refuse to overthink it and think it’s a trap. I feel like after we tweet this one we move it to 2.5 anyway or at least heavily juice it at 1.5.

There really isn’t much to say on this one. Kikuchi is slightly better at home but he’s proven to allow 5 runs to this team at home before. Baltimore is due some positive regression due to only scoring 3 runs over their last two games. But when looking at the context it’s not even that bad, Shane McClanahan and Drew Rasmussen had the best start of his career, I think the O's bats are embarrassed and get some early runs here. Let's roll!
