Well, this is a matchup that we did well on last week and I am looking to attack it similarly once again here this evening. Last week the Blue Jays were down in Baltimore for an abbreviated series in which the Orioles were able to take both games from them at Camden Yards. I planned on double dipping like we are tonight on the game that got rained out, but here we are with the opportunity again. Toronto Blue Jays vs. Baltimore Orioles Prediction

I said it last week and I will say it again, I am sold on this Baltimore team. They have shown resilience and persistence all season long and have truly battled to put themselves in this conversation that very few probably thought was possible before this season began. They are four games above .500 and although still in fourth place of the division, they are just one back from third and two from second place. They have dropped three of their last five and with another huge series starting tonight, I expect their best (and they are still on a hot run overall.)

The Blue Jays, on the other hand, are sliding now at 3-7 across their last ten, and with a big divisional series here, they need to wake up fast. They have lost five of the last six to Baltimore and are more than aware that they have no intention of letting up. I love the angle to keep riding the hot team in the matchup and I will be, but, I also love the total here in this one.

The over has hit in the last six straight between these two and we have an ideal matchup on the mound for another slugfest. Kyle Braddish should hold his own but the Jays are sporting a .357 batting average against him. On the other side is one of my favorite fades in the league, Yusei Kikuchi. The southpaw has been hammered all season long and has been hit hard by Baltimore, so I am looking for more of the same this evening.
