Wednesday's MLB slate is stacked. Ben Rajavuori is here to break down this one-plus hit parlay. Check out who's in this plus odds parlay.

Wednesday MLB Parlay: Cash In With This Expert's Plus-Money MLB Best Bet (8/17)

The hit parlay is back in a big way with the new player model. The last one-hit parlay we had last week missed by one, so we are back with a vengeance. Let's get right into it.

Leg One: Francisco Lindor (Mets) 1+ Hit

Of all the Mets that Jake Odorizzi has faced, he has seen no one more than Francisco Lindor. Coincidentally, Lindor is the hitter Odorizzi has struggled against the most. Lindor has had 30 plate appearances against Odorizzi, and in those, he has 11 hits with four doubles, two home runs, and two walks. He has a 1.183 OPS in those 30 plate appearances, and Lindor has been a hot hitter. Lindor has a hit in 20 of his last 25 games. I will trust that Lindor stays hot and continues hitting off Odorizzi.

Leg Two: Trea Turner (Dodgers) 1+ Hit

This is my favorite play, and I wouldn't be surprised if Turner went 4-5 or something tonight. Turner is one of the hottest hitters on the Dodgers right now, and he has been a hit machine off left-handed pitching. Trea Turner has the eighth-highest average in the MLB off left-handed pitching, with a .328 average and .992 OPS. Trea Turner has a hit in 23 of his last 25 games and had two hits in the first game of the series yesterday. Turner has also had success against Eric Lauer specifically. Turner is 5-10 with only one strikeout, two home runs, and a double against Lauer. There is no doubt in my mind that he can get at least one hit today.

Leg Three: Brandon Belt (Giants) 1+ Hit

This one may turn a few heads but stick with me. Yes, Belt only has two hits in his last seven games, but he will get back in the hit category again tonight. Belt hits much better off righties, and he faces the righty Zach Davies tonight. Belt is hitting just .188 against righties this season but a much better .240 against lefties. He is also hitting .298 at home, while he's only hitting .170 on the road. He is lined up with his best splits tonight and has been one of the most successful hitters against Davies on the Giants. Belt is 4-8 off Davies in his career with a double and a home run. Belt has been killing the Diamondbacks as a team on the season, as he is batting .321 against the snakes. He had a hit last night, and I expect him to get at least one more tonight.
