The Brewers look up and find themselves on the outside looking in at the moment. They got off to a good start and led in the NL Central for the majority of the year until the last two weeks or so. Many people questioned the move from the Brewers when they dealt all-star closer, Josh Hader at the deadline, but as of right now, it looks like they might have seen something the league did not when they traded him. Hader has been brutal since being traded to the Padres. The Brewers will need to heat up and win games like today against teams that will not be playoff teams.

The Cubs know that they will not be a postseason team but would love to play spoiler against one of their rivals here today. The Cubs are in rebuild mode and are excited about the future of this team. Today we will see Keegan Thompson get the ball for the Cubbies being opposed by South Paw Aaron Ashby.
