Friday's MLB Best Bets: Keegan Thompson, Kevin Gausman, and the Strikeout Watch List

I told you the Strikeout Watch List was trash yesterday and I was right. Actually, I think we all agreed on "sewage" as the term but I think you get the point. The thing is, you can't keep the Strikeout Watch List down. You can hope to contain it for a day or two but you can't just keep it down forever. Everyone knows that. The reason I bring that up is that the Strikeout Watch List looks pretty spry today. Like it's on the come-up. When that happens, the books shake in their boots. We've got guys that are either going to go way over their standard line or not even come close to covering their standard line. When that happens, the only choice we have is to ladder these guys. Our hands are legit tied here people. I know for one, if I was going to lose a bet, I'd rather lose a 6+ (+310) move than a 3.5 (-165) one. It's called math. We were given this world, we didn't make it (Tupac).

Remember, we need to see AT LEAST five of these batters in these lineups when they are released. If that happens, get ready to fire away. If we don't see at least five of these names in each lineup, walk away. We'll find something better. Also, don't forget to be somebody today.

*Also, the lines listed here are absolute tops of the ladder. You don't have to go this high if you don't want to but there's no promise that you'll feel great about stopping short when these guys cover.
