At 81-38, they are now simply charging forward and seem to be chasing previous season win records they have set before. This team is incredibly talented and loves to win and will keep doing their absolute best to do that every night. They just split a hard-fought series with Milwaukee which by their standards is a bad series so I expect a strong showing tonight.
Los Angeles won the last meeting between these National League foes however Miami has taken the four previous meetings before that. The Dodgers hate losing and especially to inferior teams. With a southpaw who they can hit on the mound for Miami tonight and Tyler Anderson for Los Angeles, I love LA to get this done on the run line again.
Jesus Luzardo’s expected slash line tonight against the Dodgers is just below .800 but I feel like that is low plus it is based on 34 PA; the Dodgers can smash southpaws. I am sure of that. Cy Young Candidate Tyler Anderson is undefeated at home this season and sporting an incredibly compelling argument to take home the award this year. He is 13-2 with a 2.81 ERA and nearly sub-one WHIP at 1.01.
I love the better team with the better pitcher to get hot again at home and win by multiple runs like they do 90% of the time.
