Baltimore Orioles vs. Boston Red Sox Prediction, Pick: Can Dean Kremer Shut Down the Red Sox?
I've made the decision to not lose a bet today. It was something I had been thinking about since I lost a bet yesterday so it's not like it was done on a whim. This is a well-thought-out plan. Premeditated even. The only issue I'm facing is the fact that I want to watch all of my bets win today so if that's the case, I can't do anything during the day. It's soccer jamboree day so the entire afternoon is out. I'm not allowed on my phone at these things (not my rule) and to be honest, sweating out bets while you're trying to watch kids play soccer isn't great. I'm not saying it can't be done (I've done it a million times which is why I'm not allowed on my phone at these events anymore), I'm just saying it's not ideal.
You've got people coaching their kids from the sidelines, freaking out every time something happens and none of them have money on the game. It's dumb. I get it if we all have action but when there's no cash involved it just seems like a waste of energy. Just relax and enjoy watching your kid play soccer. Lucky for us, I'll be out of there by the time the night game comes on and I think we may have hit gold. No chance this guy doesn't get us home after what he did to us the last time we backed him.

Baltimore Orioles vs. Boston Red Sox Pick
Dean Kremer Over 4.5 Strikeouts (+110) (Bet $100 to win $110)
*Odds available at FanDuel at time of publishing*
This one is at FanDuel but DraftKings is handing the exact same number so we're good. I haven't seen BetMGM come with anything yet but I bet it's in the same neighborhood. Long story short, I think it's safe to get down right now. I know I am. The thing about FanDuel is they have the ladders so if you want to be somebody, you could go 6+ (+240) or even 7+ (+520). It's still the weekend so technically we can still get loose if we want to. Nobody is going to say anything.
Baltimore Orioles vs. Boston Red Sox Prediction
Let me tell you a little bit about Dean Kremer. One look at him will tell you he's that guy and always has been. It's highly likely that his house was the spot to be back in the day. His parents had a pool, probably had good-looking sisters and you know he had every video game imaginable. Even right down to the snacks. Like if you took the last Little Debbie snack, he'd be like, "don't worry about it, we've got another box downstairs" right before producing another box of Little Debbie snacks. Probably could stay up as late as you wanted to at sleepovers. It's just the way it was over there.
How this translates to pitching, I have no idea but it obviously does. Sure he went through a minor rough patch when he couldn't strike out guys on the Pittsburgh Pirates or Cincinnati Reds but maybe he's not a bully. I commend him for that. Plus he was obviously saving himself for the AL East. Kremer has had two games since struggling against the Pirates and Reds and he's fanned at least six guys in both games. Those games were against the Boston Red Sox and Toronto Blue Jays which actually meant something to Dean. We need to respect him for that.
Tonight Kremer gets the Red Sox again so we can expect more of the same laser show. I get that the Red Sox have struck out third fewest in MLB over the last week but once you dive in a little, you'll see we have legs here. Just yesterday Kyle Bradish sat down six of them. The night before, Jordan Lyles got home on 4.5. We're talking Jordan Lyles here people. He only struck out one Blue Jay the last time he played them and he went 5.2 innings. Our guy Dean got six of those Jays. I'm not saying Kremer is going to set a record tonight, but I am saying he should get at least five of these Red Sox to take the walk of shame.
