MLB Parlay Picks for Monday: Cash In With This Expert's +615 Parlay

Due to popular demand, we're adding an article at Oddschecker that consists of two parlays. I'm going to add two different parlays, one being a moneyline parlay and the other being a totals parlay in the MLB daily. You can always mix and match these parlays where you see the value! Head to the Oddschecker MLB Odds grid to see complete odds for every game today on the board.

MLB Parlay Picks (+451) (Bet $100 to win $451)

  • Mets (-165)
  • Twins -1.5 (+100)
  • Marlins (-140)

The Mets will send out Max Scherzer against an offense that has struggled so badly in the second half of the season. The Yankees are home for the next two games against the Mets but that won't mean much when Mets fans enter the ballpark, just like they did in Philadelphia. Domingo German will pitch for the Yankees and he has a 5.15 xFIP in the last 30 days. Scherzer and the Mets have a clear advantage in this one.

Sonny Gray will get the start against Cole Ragans of the Rangers. Ragans has really struggled against righties as a left-handed pitcher. Meanwhile, the Twins should have at least six righties in the lineup against Ragans including Byron Buxton and Carlos Correa, who have been red hot against lefties. Meanwhile, Gray has struck out over 30% of batters in the last 30 days and has been extremely consistent. I like the Twins to win big in this one.

Edward Cabrera needs more recognition. He's struck out 37.5% of batters and has earned 74.1% of ground balls when balls are batted into play, in comparison to 3.7% of line drives. He's been sensational and now takes on Oakland. He should continue to have major success. And while you can't count on the Marlins to score a whole lot of runs, this offense still has potential against Adam Oller, who has an ERA that is nearing a 7 for the season. Take Miami.

MLB Total Runs Parlay Picks (+615) (Bet $100 to win $615)

  • Braves vs. Pirates Over 8.5 (-120)
  • Marlins vs. Athletics Under 7 (-105)
  • Brewers vs. Dodgers Under 8 (-120)

The Braves will send out Jake Odorizzi while the Pirates will pitch Roansy Contreras. Both of these pitchers have struggled in the last month or so with high xFIPs low strikeouts and high walks. The Braves, on the other hand, have been red-hot at the plate and I'd be shocked if the Pirates couldn't score a couple against Odorizzi. Give me the over.

As I mentioned above, Edward Cabrera has been sensational. I don't think the A's will be able to touch him in this game. Meanwhile, Miami should score some runs, but they're not going to get close to seven or eight runs against the Athletics. I like the under in this one knowing Cabrera will be on the mound for Miami.

The Dodgers haven't really been that great against lefties in the last 30 days. Only Trea Turner and Mookie Betts have put up good, consistent numbers. They'll take on Eric Lauer, who has escaped a lot of jams throughout the season. I think he can do more escaping in this game. Meanwhile, the Brewers will take on Julio Urias, who is another lefty that is having success. Milwaukee has struck out over 32% of the time in the last 30 days against lefties. Urias could be unhittable tonight. Take the under.
