The Chicago White Sox and the Baltimore Orioles will battle it out from Camden Yards for game one of this American League affair. Baltimore has been America's team all year long, and if you are a sports gambler, they have been your favorite team. No team in baseball has been as profitable as the Orioles, and they have already gone over their regular season win total. It is only late August.

Now, the Orioles will look to get on a run and put themselves in a position to make the postseason. It has to be an exciting time for Baltimore fans as their team is finally playing meaningful baseball for the first time in a long time. Whether the Orioles make the playoffs or not, one thing that the league now knows is the future is bright. This is a team that appears to play loose and just clicks. They do not have one star. They just have meshed very well together. The White Sox have had a disappointing year but remain in the hunt for the postseason.

They have not played their best baseball, but the bottom line is that if they get hot, they should be a playoff team. They will have their chances but need to win series like this one against Baltimore. Tonight they send their best arm to the mound in the form of Dylan Cease. Cease is the second favorite to win the Cy Young award coming into play tonight. In his last start, he allowed more than one run for the first time since May. The Orioles will send Austin Voth to the mound to try and shut down this Sox lineup. 

I will be backing Chicago on the money line today. There is a significant advantage on the mound tonight that needs to be recognized. Dylan Cease is ten times better than Austin Voth and should be able to go out and dominate tonight. This line should be in the -170 range in my eyes. Chicago still has one of the more talented lineups in baseball despite struggling this season at times. I still have faith in this Sox team, and this is a perfect spot tonight!
