That is the theme here today and it is one that we have been using with increasing frequency here down the stretch. I brought it up last week when I talked about how some days the slate lines up perfectly and other days it is really ugly. It is all in the eyes of the viewer. At this point in the season, we are well in our bag and winning a lot but that comes from a season of hard work and grinding. You learn what you like and what works and if you do it right the final third of the season should be electric. Knock on wood but so far it has been and I plan on keeping it that way. That's all for the prologue today, let's dive in.
The Chicago White Sox are back at Camden Yards this evening to do battle with the Baltimore Orioles and I am excited to ride with our Birds again. Once again we are getting a red hot, gritty Orioles team at plus money on home field and I still do not know why. The Orioles are 30-17 since the start of July and are hunting down all the top dogs in their division. Yes, they are in fourth place still but they are 64-58 and just three games out of second place in the division.
I said I am not sold on the Chicago White Sox yesterday morning on the Morning Edge and that was half the reasoning as to why we had them yesterday as well. They are uber talented but they just don't have it all together right now.
Baltimore beat them last night and have a chance to take the series with a win here in this one and I will ride with them at this line in this spot any day of the week.
