Kansas City Royals vs. Arizona Diamondbacks Prediction

The D Backs come into this game ten games under the .500 mark and will look to inch closer to the .500 mark with a win tonight. The Royals had a brutal start to the season, and they have not been able to recover. They moved on from some of their best veteran players on the roster as they have gone into rebuild mode.

This has allowed them to get a good look at some young players and plan for the future. Bobby Witt Jr has been as impressive as any young player in baseball this season. He will be the guy that the Royals build around for the future. Witt has the third-best odds to win American League rookie of the year. He can affect the game in multiple ways as he has shown the power in his swing but is also one of the fastest players in all of baseball. The Royals are hoping they can find a couple of other young players as talented as Witt.

The man getting the ball tonight looks like he will be a big part of the Royal's future. Brady Singer will toe the rubber tonight, looking to shut down this D Backs lineup. Singer has been great as of late for KC allowing just three runs in his last three starts. Opposing him will be Zac Gallen, who has had a great season for Arizona. Gallen has not allowed a run in his three starts going at least seven innings in all of those starts. 

I am not overcomplicating things here, and I will trust the under at eight. Gallen and Singer are both locked in at the moment and pitching their best baseball of the year. These are two offenses that rank towards the bottom half of the league in runs scored per game and do not scare me at all. I expect both Singer and Gallen to be on point tonight and for this game to fly under for us. Let’s cash in tonight!
