MLB Parlay Picks for Thursday: Cash In With This Expert's +596 Parlay
Due to popular demand, we're adding an article at Oddschecker that consists of two parlays. I'm going to add two different parlays, one being a moneyline parlay and the other being a totals parlay in the MLB daily. You can always mix and match these parlays where you see the value! Head to the Oddschecker MLB Odds grid to see complete odds for every game today on the board.
MLB Parlay Picks (+438) (Bet $100 to win $438)
- Guardians (-115)
- White Sox (-120)
- Mets -1.5 (-175)
The Guardians have really developed Triston McKenzie this season. McKenzie has a 3.08 xFIP in the last 30 days with nearly 30% of strikeouts. The good hitters in Seattle are the ones who either hit home runs or strike out. They're going to strike out today. Meanwhile, Cleveland should be able to get some runs off Marco Gonzales, who has a 4.47 xFIP with low strikeouts.
The Orioles will pitch Jordan Lyles tonight. Lyles is a righty that has struggled more against righties in the last 30 days. The bad news for him is that the White Sox figure to have seven righties in the lineup. On the other hand, Lance Lynn will take the hill for the White Sox. He's got a low xFIP, high strikeout rate, and low walk rate in the last 30 days. This is the Lynn the White Sox need all the time and they'll get it today. Take Chicago.
The Mets never score with Jacob deGrom on the mound, right? Not today. Ryan Feltner will get the start for the Rockies with his xFIP nearing 6 in the last 30 days. The Mets have plenty of potential with their lineup against Feltner and won't struggle to make noise offensively. Plus, deGrom will do his thing. I've got the Mets winning big.
MLB Total Runs Parlay Picks (+596) (Bet $100 to win $596)
- Angels vs Rays Under 7 (-115)
- Blue Jays vs. Red Sox Under 9 (-110)
- Yankees vs. Athletics Under 7.5 (-105)
Drew Rasmussen will take the hill for the Rays. He'll only have to worry about Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani. The rest of the lineup has been consistently bad against righties. On the other hand, Pablo Sandoval will get the call for the Angels. He'll take on a Rays lineup that doesn't have many positives either. Manuel Margot is back in the lineup but Tampa is still waiting on Wander Franco. I'm on the under here.
Kevin Gausman has an xFIP of 4.07 with 27.5% of strikeouts and 3.3% of walks. He's got nothing to worry about with Boston, as they're hitting a .151 ISO with a wOBA of .303 in the last 30 days against righties. On the other hand, Kutter Crawford has done enough to keep his rotation spot with Boston. He limits walks and does well against righties. The Blue Jays more than likely will have seven righties in the lineup. I'll take the under.
James Kaprielian and Jameson Taillon aren't the best pitchers on tonight's slate. But these two offenses have really struggled against righties in the last 30 days. The Yankees only have Aaron Judge hitting above-average from the right side. That's where Kaprielian allows most of his extra-base hits. On the other hand, only Seth Brown and Shea Langeliers are hitting consistently good numbers against righties in the Oakland lineup. I won't allow three players to take me off this game. The rest of both offenses have been straight-up bad. I'm on the under here as well.
