Friday MLB Parlay: Cash In With This Expert's Plus-Money MLB Best Bet (8/26)

The one-hit parlay is back in a big way tonight, and boy, do I love this one. I won't waste any of your time. Let's get right into it.

Leg One: Josh Bell (Padres)

Josh Bell got off to a rough start with his new team after being traded with Juan Soto to the Padres. Bell is batting .156 with his new team while holding a .277-season batting average. However, over the last few games, he has looked better, and he has a hit in three of the last four games with two home runs. He has a hit in six of his eleven home games with the Padres. Josh bell is the only Padre who has seen Kris Bubic before, and Bell is 2-2 off him. This is mainly due to the fact that Bubic throws a curveball or changeup on 50% of his pitches, and those two specific pitches are the ones Bell has hit best this season. Bell is hitting .273 against lefties this season, and Bubic is a lefty. The Royals also have one of the worst bullpens in the league, so if Bell somehow can't manage a hit off Bubic, he should find one off the bullpen.

Leg Two: Nelson Cruz (Nationals)

Nelson Cruz is the oldest hitter in the league right now behind Albert Pujols, but he is still one of the best players on the Nationals roster. He leads the team in RBIs with 61 and has been a solid bat in the middle of the lineup. Tonight, he faces a familiar face in Mike Minor. Cruz has lit up Minor every time he sees him. He is 7-12 off Minor with a .583 batting average and two strikeouts. It's not easy to fool a veteran hitter like Cruz, and Minor throws a lot of fastballs, so Cruz should be able to square one up tonight. The wind is blowing out at Nationals Park, and Cruz has a hit in 12 of his 18 games in August. The Reds, like the Royals, also have a horrible bullpen, so Cruz could get in the hit category off the relievers as well tonight. Take the veteran to get a hit tonight.

Leg Three: Austin Riley (Braves)

Autin Riley is one of the best hitters against left-handed pitching, and tonight he faces lefty Jose Quintana. Riley is batting .363 with a 1.213 OPS against lefties this season. Riley has a hit in 14 of his 23 games in August. He has struggled a bit over the past week, but he has back-to-back games with a hit and is in an excellent spot to have a big game against Quintana. Riley is batting .467 with a 1.300 OPS against the Cardinals this season, which is his second-best average against any team in the MLB. I love Riley to get a hit tonight and even to hit a dinger.
