Houston Astros vs. Baltimore Orioles Prediction

The Baltimore Orioles and the Houston Astros will clash from Houston for game two on Saturday night. The Orioles did something not many teams have been able to do last night when they shut out the Astros. Houston is one of the best offenses in baseball and currently holds the best record in the American League.

Baltimore continues to shock the league with its winning ways. This is a team that no one thought would be able to compete, but it is late August, and they are in a battle for a playoff spot. The Astros will cruise into the postseason as the only thing they will really be playing for in the month of September will be to have the best record in American League.

Houston will look to bounce back after a rough night last night. The Stros are the best lineup in baseball, in my eyes. This is a team filled with experience, and despite losing some stars to free agency in the past couple of seasons, the team has not lost a beat. They are the clear favorites to come out of the American League.

Tonight they will send Jose Urquidy to the bump. He has had a great year for Houston winning twelve games and posting an ERA of just 3.63. Opposing Urquidy will be Dean Kremer, who has been up and down all season long. He comes into this game with a record of 5-4 and an ERA of 3.45.

I am all over a Houston bounce back tonight. This is a team that is too good to get shut out back-to-back nights on offense. Baltimore is due for some regression tonight, and I love the way Urquidy has thrown the ball this season. I expect a strong outing from him tonight. Kremer has been inconsistent this year, and an angry Houston lineup will have their way tonight.
