Brewers vs. Cubs Line Movement

Milwaukee Brewers vs. Chicago Cubs Prediction

This line holds so much value, where do I begin? Drew Smyly is on the mound for Chicago and we’re riding with him today. Smyly has an earned runs prop of 2.5 as well and his implied outs his 18 so for him to go exactly 6 innings. We’re basically getting that prop for one less inning in theory and I love the matchup. This number just feels wrong, this should be 1.5 with juice on the over maybe.

Drew Smyly is a guy we ride with quite often and he’s great when we select him. He faces a Brewers team who hits lefties only at a .214 clip. This team is awful against lefties and now we expect them to score 3+ runs in the first 5 innings? I’m not sure about that. Smyly has been pitching some outstanding baseball allowing just 3 runs in his last 24 innings and hitting this prop in 7 of his last 9 games. The two misses were against the Dodgers and Giants who both hit lefties well. He should do his job today and allow 2 or fewer through 5.

Woodruff is in the mound for Milwaukee which makes me think the public may be on the Brewers so I’m okay fading the public here. Smyly has allowed only 6 hits in 37 at-bats to these Brewer batters' lifetime. That is a .162 average and if that persists then I like our chances at winning this one. If you don't have this market I would just take the Smyly u2.5 Earned Runs but you may have to sweat for an additional inning, let's hope that isn’t the difference between winning and losing. Let's roll!
