Another week of MLB comes to a close as we enter the home stretch of the season, and to cap it off, we have a Sunday Night Baseball game between the Cardinals and Braves, two teams we will almost certainly see in the postseason. This has been an electric series so far between two contenders, with last night's game endings in walk-off fashion. Now, the series is tied one-to-one as we enter tonight's rubber match. I have put together a same game parlay for this one tonight that I love. Let's get into the breakdown of Cardinals vs Braves same game parlay and the odds for the game.

St. Louis Cardinals vs. Atlanta Braves Same Game Parlay Breakdown
Leg One: Adam Wainwright 5+ Strikeouts
Adam Wainwright is 9-9 on the season with a 3.11 ERA. Wainwright has been having an excellent season and has been even better at home. At home, Wainwright is 5-3 with a 2.11 ERA over 13 starts this season. He has also been better at night. He has a 2.86 ERA in night starts, compared to a 3.69 ERA in day starts. Wainwright isn't known normally as a strikeout pitcher, but he has hit this number frequently this season, especially at home. Wainwright has hit 5+ strikeouts in 9 of his 13 home starts, good for 69%, and has hit this number in 7 of his last 9 home starts. As good as they have been, the Braves have been prone to strikeouts. The Braves have the third highest strikeout rate in the league against right-handed pitching this season and strike out even more on the road. Wainwright is hitting all his best splits tonight and has hit this line many times this season.
Leg Two: Goldschmidt 1+ Run Scored
Paul Goldschmidt has been a machine in August. The MLB veteran is hitting .379 with a 1.235 OPS. He has recorded 23 runs in 24 games in August and sits right in the heart of the order around some talented hitters. It's no question why he has scored 50 runs in 61 games at home. Goldschmidt scored two runs in the game last night, and with where he sits in the order, he is one of the most likely hitters to score for the Cardinals. He has scored a run in seven of his last ten games, and I think he can get another one tonight off Odorizzi. Odorizzi has been pitching well, but he has a 4.82 ERA in night games and now plays in the most important night game of the week. Goldy should touch home plate once or more tonight.
Leg Three: Cardinals ML
Well, this shouldn't be a surprise after I broke down some of Wainwright's numbers. Wainwright has been an excellent pitcher at home and at night, so we are getting the best Adam tonight. Odorizzi has a 4.58 ERA since joining the Braves and is 2-2 for the team since joining. This will be a tough ask of Odorizzi to come out and pitch well against a hot Cardinals team. He is coming off a decent start against the Pirates, but that's the Pirates; this is a dangerous Cardinals lineup that is fourth in the league in runs scored per game and third overall in team OPS. The lineup is entirely healthy as well. Both teams have excellent bullpens (although we just saw Jansen blow last night's game), so this one should come down to the starters, and Wainwright is in a much better position to set the Cardinals up for success tonight. Also, the Cardinals have the momentum after that walk-off win off Jansen last night. Take the Cardinals to take this series and stay hot.
