MLB Parlays Today (8/29): A +131 Hit Parlay Best Bet
A smaller pool of games to choose from tonight in MLB, but there are some nice matchups out there, so it’s time to jump into a hit parlay.
Tonight I’ve got a three leg hit parlay, with the odds coming out +131, needing one hit from each to get to the other side of green.
Monday MLB Hit Parlay: +131 (Bet $100 to win $131)
Alex Verdugo (BOS) to get a hit (-260)
Verdugo has been seeing the ball so well lately, racking up 5 multi-hit games over his last 10, having a hit in 7 of his last 10 games. Verdugo is batting .281 off RHP, and tonight gets Dylan Bundy, who he has had a lot success off in his career. He is 3-for-5 (.600) off Bundy – including a single, a double, and a home run. There’s a lot to like about this matchup, and he'll be batting second in the lineup tonight.
Vlad Guerrero Jr. (TOR) to get a hit (-310)
(Nolan Arenado was the original choice here – but it sounds like that game might not finish tonight due to rain, so we pivot). Vlad is going up against a rookie pitcher in second start. The Blue Jays offense is deep from top to bottom, and Vlad leads the charge. I’m not sure how much time Javier Assad will get, and if Vlad hasn’t gotten a hit in his first couple at bats, he got a bottom 10 bullpen by most metrics waiting for him, so I like this spot.
Alec Bohm (PHI) to get a hit (-380)
On paper, you might not find a better matchup tonight. Bohm bats .352 off LHP, and tonight he goes up against Madison Bumgarner, who allows RHB to bat .302. Bohm has at least 1 hit in 8 of his last 9 games, and I expect him to continue that tonight.
